Until the end of October, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. has made 160 alleys in five Jakarta city regions and Seribu Islands regency become greener.
Not only for food tenacity, but green alley program is also done to increase local residents income
Jakarta KPKP Dept.'s Planning Division Head, Bambang stated, greening program is done by encouraging residents to plant vegetables, fruits, and medicine plants in narrow land.
All Urban Villages in S. Jakarta Targeted to Have Green Alley"Realizing 160 green alleys is our program in 2018. It is done to create urban farming in Jakarta," he said, Friday (10/26).
He stated, each Jakarta city regions have 30 green alleys and Seribu Islands regency has 10 green alleys. Total 160 green alleys are realized with budget Rp 6 billion.
